Are you ready for Spring? We thought it was here for sure a few weeks ago and then it snowed and snowed again and snowed again. So I brought the Garden Indoors to enjoy and anticipate the beauty soon to come outdoors. ( this post may contain affiliate links)
A little French Country makes my day!
I love having serving areas set and ready to entertain…this one with Spring paper plates and napkins
The Barrel of Tulips is my new addition this year. I fell in love with the container and the tulips are everywhere, so voila!
I love Mr & Mrs Bunny ready to celebrate Spring!
This is a super easy floral to create! 2 Tulip bundles, some foam, moss, a container and a nest with fake bird eggs.
I have these towels in all of the Spring Colors, from TJMaxx and the herb scented Dish Soap from the same shoppe!
This vintage cookie jar was my Mom’s. She passed it on to me after I was married, but I remember it growing up as a little girl. My Mom makes the absolute best Chocolate Chip Cookies ever.
I have never done a room shot before. We removed linoleum, added tile, then removed the tile and added the Vintage Hickory Hand Scraped Wood through out our main floor except the Living and Dining Rooms. Our honey oak cabinetry was painted last year. In a previous kitchen upgrade we had the pink formica counter tops replaced and I made the island counter larger added the bead board and the corbels. This past year we painted all of the wood trip around the windows white. It was honey oak. Stools are from Ballards Design, Kitchen Chairs World Market, Light Fixtures Lowes.
This magazine is Southern Lady…no I am from St. Louis, Missouri but I should have been from the South! I opened up to this lovely page and had to add a bowl of lemons, my bunny and my favorite glass cutting board.
I can’t ever have enough different table settings. I simply adore them. I will do another post about the table soon. But for now, the place mats are sticks and moss, the charger is metal, gray plate and rabbit luncheon plate, napkins and holders, glasses as well as the egg all from Pier 1. The egg cup and chairs World Market. This setting just makes me so happy!!!
I love vignettes. This is referred to as my butler’s pantry. Hardly big enough for that operation, however, it is a great coffee station and a place to set breakfast out. The napkin and eggs from Pier 1. The glass basket TJMaxx.
I know that is simply a bunny towel, but again, I have never shown my whole kitchen before so I thought I would give another view of some of the planter’s shelves from the early 90s. I don’t keep plants there any longer and I love having the space to decorate.
People are a little fickle about these planning centers in the kitchen now a days. Some folks have plugged in the chair space with wine coolers. Do I sit there often? No, but I don’t drink wine because it gives me a headache and I already have a wet bar with wine around the corner.
This powder room is headed for an update. We still have the cultured marble counter top and it is a little scratched and nicked from years of use. The large vanity base I am going to have painted the same as our kitchen cabinets. Bringing the birds in here for Spring!
One of my great finds when shopping boutiques this month. I just love the soap and hand cloths and especially the cloth holder.
The same boutique had the robin’s egg soap and I found the little container and it worked perfectly.
Here is a peek at our family room! That is all for this month’s tour. But I will be back next month with some more rooms. See you then!
The rest of our tours are below my sign off. Can’t wait to hear how you like them all,
